In 2013 the Swiss musicians Sinner DC together with British artist Sonic Boom created the music for their production named "MAPS".
Dutch artist space is green joined them to create the accompanying visuals for their live performance at the Festival de la Bâtie 2013.

Later that year MAPS was also performed in Paris during Le Fabfest.
After these two live shows the music and video remained hidden for over ten years...
Until in 2024 the music of MAPS finally got an album release and the video got released through the video game MAPS. You can now experience both music and video for the first time since 2013!
Buy the album on Swiss Mental Groove Records
The visuals for the 2013 live performances were made using a modified ZDoom game engine. On the occasion of the album release space is green turned the old music video into a free music video game. Once you start the game you have the option to either watch the video or freely travel through the strange world of MAPS.

"... In that Empire, the Art of Cartography reached such Perfection that the map of one Province alone took up the whole of a City, and the map of the empire, the whole of a Province.
In time, those Unconscionable Maps did not satisfy and the Colleges of Cartographers set up a Map of the Empire which had the size of the Empire itself and coincided with it point by point.
Less Addicted to the Study of Cartography, Succeeding Generations understood that this Widespread Map was Useless and not without Impiety they abandoned it to the Inclemencies of the Sun and of the Winters.
In the deserts of the West some mangled Ruins of the Map lasted on, inhabited by Animals and Beggars; in the whole Country there are no other relics of the Disciplines of Geography."
